PSHE

Vision

At Perton, we promote the development of healthy, respectful and independent members of our school through our ethos; Happy, Healthy and Safe.

PSHE is taught across the school from Nursery – Year 4 using the resources provided by One Decision. One Decision is a unique bank of resources for PSHE, which are continually updated, considering the evolving changes to meet the needs of every child. One Decision offers the opportunity for learners to reflect on their needs, aiming to meet them effectively.

With an ever changing society, we are able to provide our children with a strong understanding of the diverse world around them and support them in playing a positive role in contributing to the school and the wider community.

PSHE is taught in explicit lessons and these are then reinforced and enhanced in:

  • Assemblies to celebrate awareness, such as anti-bullying and mental health
  • Praise and reward system
  • Promoting positive relationships child to child, adult to child and adult to adult.
