Entry to Acorns Pre-School and Willows Nursery

Funded 2 year places

2 year olds whose parents receive additional government support could be eligible for 15 hours of early education, this is called ‘Think2’

Funded 3 year places

All 3 and 4 year olds who live in England are entitled to 15hours free childcare support. Working parents are entitled to 30 hours funded childcare support. https://ems.staffordshire.gov.uk/CitizenPortal/en

 

Reception Admissions for September 2026

Applications for admission in September 26 will open on 1st November 25 and close on 15th January 26, with decisions being issued on 16th April 26 via email from Staffordshire County Council.

SUAT supports and leads in the set-up of new academies joining the partnership. The services provided by the central support function cover both educational and non-educational support. In terms of educational support, SUAT is linked to the School of Education of Staffordshire University, which is an outstanding ITT provider.
