Welcome to Perton Primary Academy

Here at Perton Primary Academy, together with our Local Academy Council and high calibre, dedicated staff, we look forward to a valued partnership with our parents over the next academic year.

Our belief is that every child has the great potential of ‘Much in Little’ and we welcome every family through our doors to work in partnership with us.

At school, we currently uphold and celebrate six key values to be Proud, Enthusiastic, Respectful, Thoughtful, Open-Minded and Nurturing.

We all uphold the Fundamental British Values in the life of the school so that we develop confident, well-rounded young citizens.

Perton Primary Academy provides a caring ethos and safe culture to ensure a happy, secure learning environment for our children. We have worked hard to create well-established links to local schools, Universities, and the wider Perton community and will continue to do so going forward.

Our vision is to work together to ‘Enable Successful Futures for All’

We challenge and support our learners to achieve their potential through a caring ethos and a broad, vibrant and meaningful curriculum.

As part of Staffordshire University Academy Trust, we benefit from the wider opportunities of collaboration, training and development and we therefore offer expertise in high-quality teaching and learning.

The strong supportive partnership and commitment between home and the Academy is important to us. We are very proud of Perton Primary Academy and welcome you to visit us.

We have twelve well resourced class bases including a spacious nursery, library and music area. The grounds consist of a large playground, generous sports field and outside classroom. We offer before and after school club throughout the year. Pupils have access to iPads and laptops to make regular links to the computing curriculum.

Most of our pupils transfer to Perton Middle School in Year 5. The academy engages regularly with the local cluster of schools as a learning community. Children participate in a range of inter-school competitions and events. We make strong links with the local community, church and library.
