We are very proud that healthy, nutritious, tasty meals are cooked on site using high quality, fresh ingredients from local suppliers.

Hot meals, jacket potatoes and packed lunches are available. There is always a vegetarian option. Other dietary requirements and allergies can be accommodated.  Please visit or call our school office to discuss your child’s requirements.

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receive a free school meal at lunchtime as part of the government’s Universal Free School Meal initiative.

Some children in Year 3 and Year 4 will also be eligible for free school meals. You can check your eligibility here: www.gov.uk/apply-free-school-meals.

Any child who is eligible for free school meals will also be eligible for additional support in school, through extra funding provided to the school.  Therefore we ask that parents of all children check their eligibility regardless of what year group their child is in.

School funding is partly based on the number of children taking a school meal on October and January census days, therefore we will provide a school meal to every child on these days. Your child is welcome to bring a packed lunch as well on these days if they wish.
