Dear Parents/Carers,
The government guidelines were updated again over the weekend. The message is clear:
The best place for all children is to be cared for in their own homes. The message to keyworkers and parents with children who are disabled or who have children on an EHCP is that if you or a partner can care for your children safely at home, then please do not send your children into school.
At Perton Primary Academy, we are committed to providing continued childcare for all key workers that really need it. We are now refining our due diligence into this as we strive to keep as many children and staff safe and well. To support us in this process, we are asking you to declare that you have no alternative care available at home. I ask that you all email me at principal@pertonacademy.co.uk as soon as is convenient sharing your declaration.
Thank you for your help in using the provision responsibly.
Kind regards,
Mrs Ives
Acting Deputy Principal
